Using the Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
It is important to understand the difference between betting on a single selection and placing multiple selections together on one slip.
Single Bet
A single bet is when you wager on just one outcome. The result depends entirely on that one selection. For example, in a limited-overs match, Team A's odds are 2.10 and Team B's are 1.75.
৳1,000 bet on Team B: if they win, you get back ৳1,750 (৳750 profit). If Team A wins, you lose the full ৳1,000.
Multi Bet
Placing multiple selections on a single bet slip is called a multi bet. The odds of each selection are multiplied together to form the combined odds. However, if any one selection loses, the entire bet is lost — making this riskier than a single bet.
Decimal odds 1.60, 1.70 and 1.90 — combined odds: 1.60 × 1.70 × 1.90 = 5.17 (approx). ৳100 stake returns ৳517 if all three win. If any one loses, the full ৳100 is gone.
